From learning to play in our white water park, to down river SUP trips, Intro to WW SUP is where it is at! River surfing, punching holes, to paddling long wave trains, the fun is endless!!! Jen is a certified white water SUP Instructor through ACA, professional river guide for 22 years, former Wilderness EMT & an internationally certified Swift Water Rescue Technician.
Jen teaches with a creed she learned from her fellow river guides in Colorado, called “Challenge by Choice”. You will learn river safety, white water park etiquette, proper white water SUP equipment, self- rescue & knowledge of how rivers & rapids work. We teach you how to “read a river”. Much like reading music, or reading a book, once you learn how to read a river, you can enjoy paddling anywhere in the world!
For you experienced white water paddlers, come jump in an advanced SUP clinic! White water SUP makes class III fun again & many experienced boaters jump on a SUP to get that thrill in a challenging new way!
Learn proper SUP paddle strokes (There is more to it than you think!) that are a blend of Outrigger paddling, river guiding, canoeing & SUP racing. Jen takes white water instructor clinics multiple times a year to stay current on the latest, greatest white water SUP techniques from accredited organizations like the ACA, WPA & PSUPA. There is always something new to learn in our clinics & meet other white water SUP paddlers!
Adventure Fitness employs coaches that are professional SUP athletes, kayakers, experienced white water guides, certified swift water rescue technicians, life guards & SUP racers. We have a strict 5 to1 teacher to student ratio & all paddlers must take a quick skills assessment to be placed properly in clinics. 1 to 2 day clinics offered on our beautiful rivers with boats assisting our down river trips. Bring your own gear or rent from us for a deal!
